Review of Putnam Ridge

I am sorry to say that my 75 year old mother who suffered a stroke, was a patient at Putnam Ridge. I found it to be a less than adequit facility. With the exception of the therapy staff, I found the employees uninformed and not very honest. My mother was found sitting on the floor in the "Great Room" on her second day in this facility. No one came to help her and everyone denied seeing her or knowing she had fallen, God knows how long she sat there untill my sister found her. I was made to assist her to the restroom and to get her pajamas on after being told an aide would be there to help. By the time the "help" arrives she would have soiled herself, which also happened several times during her stay. The food is awful and practically thrown at the patients, cold sandwiches and hard pizza is hardly dinner.

I do not recommend this facility for a loved one at all, I am thankful to the therapy staff for their care, it was in fact the only bright spot in her time there.
