Over the years, I have had three family members at Albany County Nursing Home and have found it the nursing staff to be compassionate and caring. While the building itself is old and does need to be replaced, a home is not just made up of the environment but the people. The politically placed director may not be in this category, but the people who have been working there for years do care about their patients and treat them as family.
