My 96 year old mother fell and broke her hip. She was transferred to the Medical Resort after being in the inpatient rehab unit of our local hospital. She was at the Medical Resort for 20 days. She credits the Medical Resort with her being able to return to living independently at her apartment. The therapists are terrific, the physical plant (rooms, dining area, therapy area) is very nice, the food is good, and there is even a hair dresser available. She did have two complaints relating to staffing: first, she was moved in on a Friday night and communications with staff were virtually non-existent till Monday, which was quite a shock to her in her state of health and age; second, the staff who attended to cleaning her room and bathroom were less than thorough and not at all attentive to detail - garbage would pile up, clothes that she had put in a receptacle for washing were thrown away, meal dishes would sometimes remain till the next meal.
