This facility is the worst I have ever been involved with, and I am involved with 2 others as I am responsible for other peoples health care and know what I should expect from a facility of this kind. The staff is mostly non caring people whom lie on reports and don't even check to make sure patients have adequate care. A patient was told to clean the bathroom themselves if they didn't like the way they did it. The place is not kept clean and meds are not given on time. The people responsible for monitoring food intake do not! Dinner was served full of nats. The facility was represented to me as having a 5 star review and it I have yet to find a rating of more than 1. In my opinion the facility is detrimental to elders well being.

My father (a three war veteran, WWII. Korea, and Viet-Nam) has been a resident (Honor Circle) for a little over a year now and he has always expressed a high degree of satisfaction. My brothers, sister, and I could not be more pleased. His needs and care are continually met without delay. The environment is emaculately clean and he rarely complains about anything - he even likes the food!! No hesitation whatsoever in recommending the Vineland Veteran's Memorial Home. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Dad…………….William H. Oliver, Jr.

My mother went in there on the 1st floor which is the rehab floor and was shown to be in need of oxygen which they did not give this whole time. She left there months later with malnutrition and a huge bed sore, multiple bruises and a large hemotoma. The aides on the 3rd floor just flatout ignored her when she'd ring the bell to use the bathroom. She was forced to go in her diapers & sit in the mess even though she was still continent. Aides would gather around each other in the hallways laughing and talking it up to each other ignoring the patients' lights being on for needed help. They would promise to do something for the patients then walk away and forget about the requests. Things were constantly going missing as well of the patients' belongings. My mother "lost" quite a few things, including brand new slacks I had just bought her, a poncho she's had since the 60's as well as the brand new legs to her brand new wheelchair. They gave me old taped up legs and insisted those were the ones that belonged to my mother! Her roommate also told me many of her belongings were "missing" too. When I removed mom from Bishop she was shown to have blood clots. Also, we were quite pestered about a lower 4 digit amount owed right in front of my mother in her bed & told she would be KICKED OUT- this discussion should have been had in a private office

My Grandmother was in the facility for less than 6 months. She was in the assisted living area for a while until she fell. She did not break anything but they insisted she go to their convalescent home. She had nothing wrong with her. After one week in the convalescent home, she was hospitalized with kidney failure. She was removed from the hospital and returned to the convalescent home where she was deprived of food and water because she could not swallow. They would not intervene with an IV and my uncles, who had the power of attorney, insisted no intervention be done. This Catholic convalescent home complied and dehydrated my grandmother to death. She died yesterday. The convalescent home received 200,000 dollars of my grandmother's money for two weeks of care. They made her sign over the money the day she entered the convalescent part of the home.

I was there for Rehab for about 3 weeks. Because of the reputation that the facility had before, I was worried on the way there…..

When I got there, they made me feel great, welcome. The facility was very clean ( I would like there guy who cleans there floor in my house ;) )

Nurses were very nice, helpful and always had a smile in there faces ( the best one was Ashley). The management were checking on me every day! After I have left Rehab, my brother end up in the hospital and he went to Lincoln Specialty Care Center for Rehab and he is still there- getting same great care and getting better by an hour.
