Do NOT allow your loved one to go to this facility. The staff are rude and either lack training or simply don't care. My Mom was sent to this facility for short term rehabilitation after a stroke. My mom was supposed to have been fed. when I would arrive her dinner would be sitting off to the side untouched aconsiderable time after it was initially served. My mom was supposed to have Urinalysis tests done. They claimed she had 2 tests taken which came back negative for infection.When I discharged her and re admitted her to the Hospital she was diagnosed as dehydrated , her bowels were impacted,and she tested positive for a urinary tract infection. I was not surprised because the urine in her catheter bag was dark orange. She was also put on two medications: Flexeril and hydrocodone while she was supposed to be undergoing physical therapy. This was their way of prolonging her stay.I demanded that they fax a copy of her medications to spring valley hospital. The HEAD nurse lied stating that she sent it. When no fax was recieved, I asked her to send it again. She refused I filed a report with the licensing bureau on all of the above issues who found in our favor.
