My mother was recently transferred to Villages of St. Peters from St. Joseph Health center for rehab. The nursing staff is not attentive to the patients. They are rude to family members and the call lights sound all of the time you are there visiting. My mother got little if any attention. She became ill from a virus while she was there for just 10 days and after many phone calls the Dr. finally agreed that she needed to return to the hospital.She is so weak and dehydrated now that we are back at stage one again! They found her severly dehydrated on her arrival at the hospital as well as blood red sores from a yeast infection that had not been treated or cleaned. The nurses would rather sit arouind and talk on their personal phones than help their patients. This a facility staffed with lazy uncaring staff. And management that either has no clue or just doesn't care. I would not take anyone to this facility!
