The staff at LifeCare Center of Bridgeton are inattentive, overworked, and unsympathetic. My mother was there for two weeks and had to go to the hospital as a result of neglect. She kept telling staff that she was constipated. They would not give her anything, telling her that laxatives were not on her doctors orders, which they were. As a matter of fact, they even had the medicine there, but misplaced it. She finally became so impacted that she was in the hospital for four days. They also told her before she left that she did have a bowel movement, as if she wouldn't know. But when she asked to see her chart, they would not give it to her. The 'intake' staff seem really excited to see you when you first arrive. They act like they are looking forward to having your family member. But then your family member is ignored.
