I rate this nursing home poorly because the level of care given to my sister was almost non existence. There were a couple of good staff workers but for the most part it seemed as though the staff lacked the ability to care. My sister was totally dependant on these people to nurse her back to health. On several occasions she was left with dried poop on her. She was not bathed for days on end with the same clothes on. She was not turned properly or at all in the bed. She had an infection for almost 6 months which was treated with one medicine and another, and another and more medicine which did not cure the problem. During this time she remain in bed. She developed dehydration, pnewmonia, uti, colds and several other ailments during her stay at Sunplex. She died after 10 months in this facility which I think was due to lack of care and the fall which contributed to her untimely death. The Obusman and the state of Mississippi was contacted by the family during the stay at this facility.
This facility was chosen because of the proximity and the rehilibation program. I would not recommend it.
