They have minimal contact with long term patients who are not receiving PT. They are "too busy" to help bed fast patients get up and go to the bathroom. They encourage them instead to just "go on the pad" placed under them. (according to my mother who has been there several months).
My mother has dementia and they are suppose to contact me as her POA of health and designated relative. They have called only 1/2 dozen times, 2x in the middle of the night, because the day shift didn't contact me.
