This is the second facility my loved one has been in. The first facility was 5 stars, owned by a hospital and absolutely beautiful. Problem was, the care was aweful. Every day there was a different therapist working with my aunt, half of them couldn't even get her name right. While the facility may not be the most beautiful, my aunt has gotten excellent care! Her aide Caron is wonderful and the therapy is a hundred times better! She has gotten so much better in the short time she has been here. I guess if I had read the other reviews I may have thought twice about bringing my aunt here. Once I toured I had a really good feeling. I think everyone should make their own choices. I find the residents clean, happy, out of their rooms doing activities. Staff is friendly. For an older building I find it acceptably clean. Again….I would you suggest you tour before you make a judgement based on the other comments here. I think you may be surprised!

I agree with you.. I have a loved one that was put at Warren Woods from the hospital before the family was able to tour any facility so we found out she was there after she arrived. At first glance at the older building and some of the comments online, I too was nervous for her first few days. However, to avoid any further movement for my aunt, we elected to finish her rehab at the facility. I am happy to say that overlooking the older building and perhaps not my choice of color schemes, the staff is wonderful. My aunt received the best therapy I think she could receive and had assigned staff for 5 of her 7 day therapy sessions. Even getting to know the staff at the initial meeting, I felt relaxed. My aunt is home today and stronger after getting her wonderful care and therapy at Warren Woods. I would assist her in returning there if she ever needed rehab again. She even cried when she was leaving and said she didn't want to go! She is settled in at home safely… and doing very well.. Thank you Warren Woods staff. It's our family's opinion that some of the more negative comments online may have been families that didn't give the staff/facility a chance OR could even be the work of a few individuals.
