After cardiac bypass surgery I was a patient there in Feb 2012. The first night was a shock to my system listening to the cries of dementia patients all night long, and room temperature control problems. I wanted out. But my issues were resolved. The screamers were moved right away. I would rate their nursing staff as being very hard working and dedicated. Perhaps sometimes overtaxed. The food was generally good, better than one would expect, much better than Henry Ford Hsptl downtown. 2 areas of concern are (1) Maintenance of building and (2) Dr staff wants to qualify every patient with a dementia diagnosis. There must be some benefit to the Center for that? With those 2 exceptions, I would rate this center as excellent all things considered.
