The Timbers looks like a nice place on the outside, but looks are very deceiving. The quality of care is lacking, and the place is more concerned about making money than actually making the residents comfortable. We had come to visit our loved one, only to find her semi-conscious, reeking of feces and urine and with a rash from sitting in her own waste because her diaper was not changed. This wasn't only one time, but almost every time. When we complained, we were told that it wasn't time for her to be checked yet. Sorry, but when you can smell the person needs to be cleaned up, you should just do it, not just when it is convenient. We decided to take our loved one home and care for her at home, since she wasn't getting proper care of at this facility. She is happy, healthy and her physical and emotional needs are better met by us at home now, rather than the so-called professionals at the Timbers. Please do not send anyone you love here.
