If you know someone you really dislike or even hate, consider sending them to Woodward Hills. If you care about them, DO NOT send them to Woodward Hills. I made the terrible mistake of having my mother transferred to WH for 30 days for physical therapy after she fell and broke her hip while at an assisted living facility. There were only two aids on the entire floor, and patients could wait forever if they needed to go to the bathroom or needed any other kind of help. I came in one Saturday at 2 p.m., and she was still in bed - no one had bothered to get her up in the morning. When I complained to the nurse at the desk, she just shrugged her shoulders and seemed irritated that I even brought it up. Despite my repeated requests, the cleaning staff would come in each day and put her puzzle books, radio and other personal items where she could not get at them. It's a great looking place that is nothing but a snake pit, and they seem to care little about their patients.
