The care that my grandmother received here during her multiple rehabilitation stays and eventual end of life care was incredible. The fact that they were able to get her well enough to go home was nothing short of miraculous given her conditions. The nurses and CNA's were kind, caring and went the extra mile to make her comfortable. When she was nearing the end of life a staff member sat down, held her hand and helped us to ease her anxiety when we couldn't find the words. They even helped to accommodate our large family so that we could hold a vigil when it was "time." She passed away peacefully and comfortably with her family by her side thanks to the caring nurses and staff. She considered them part of her extended family. The staff at Woodbriar truly cares about the well-being of the residents and their families.
