As a extended family member of a resident of Brandon Woods Nursing Home I feel like my hands are tied and there is nothing that can be done for patient who has had her rights taken away in a very untrusting way. More should have been done by the professional staff knowing that the quality of life is a very important in a patients well being. Living with the knowledge of what is right and wrong for this patient is enough to make her very angry and frustrated. I am very disappointed that there is no professional staff that can take some care and concern for a patients well being. This patient should not be punished in this way because a family is incapable of making better choices and decisions. This is where I think a professional staff should have taken some action.
