We are profoundly grateful to have found Oak Crest Village for our mom. She is safe, happy and so well cared for. There's not a day goes by that she does not tell me of something different, crazy, happy, pleasant for the residents to do and the very best conditions to do them in. We cannot say enough good about management, staff and their services. We are truly blessed to have Oak Crest Village and to have a mother so very happy to be living there.

My wife's mother lived at Oak Crest Village for nearly six years - first independently then with assistance/hospice care - she rarely missed a meal in the dining room and looked forward to the social activities and entertainment. Staff was always friendly and concerned for her safety and care. Security for her belongings was absolutely never compromised - all of her jewelry, collectibles were safely respected by staff - we highly recommend Oak Crest Village to all - affordable, pleasant, excellent food, and cooperative administration and staff.

When we first visited Oak Crest Village, my sister-in-law and I were impressed. The staff was friendly and proud, the community was clean and it didn't smell "like an old folks home!" When we took the tour, the manager talked with residents by name and everyone was smiling and seemed to be happy to be there.

When we were able to finally able to move my parents into Oak Crest Village, they were very helpful and accommodating. They know the challenges and were there to help us! My mom has fallen several times and they are always there to help her.

We are very happy to have our parents at Oak Crest Village!

I'm very satisfied with Oak Crest Village. I have lots of friends and the food is good. I like that there are all kinds of activities, birthday parties, and we play games. If I don't want to participate, I go back to my apartment and quilt or watch TV and also they also have outside activities that I do as well. I also enjoy the exercising and play Rummikub and bingo two or three times a week. Overall, Oak Crest Village has been the perfect community for me to enjoy my independence yet have a built in safety net in case my health suddenly fails. I couldn't have selected a better place to live than this.

One reason I chose Oak Crest Village was for the price, it is well maintained, everything is up to date, it is clean and appealing. Also because of the food, I had a meal there and saw their menus and it was better than the other places I had been to. I had seen about 3 other retirement communities. I visit my mom a lot and everybody there seems to be very happy. I have yet to find one resident with any complaints. They seem to really enjoy being there.

Recently I toured Oak Crest Village. I was looking for a place for my mom close to my house. I toured this place because it was ranked as 5 stars by the state. Oak Crest was very clean and staff was pleasant and answered all my numerous questions. I felt very comfortable right away with Oak Crest Village so I place my mom there and have been very happy with the care she is receiving.

My father (currently 85) was previously living in another retirement community in the area. Although this other home as OK, it can't compare to the quality of Oak Crest Retirement Community. My father has lived in the independent living section of Oak Crest Village now for about two years. He couldn't be happier with the place and neither could I. The staff is consistently warm and friendly. My Dad's involved in so many activities on a daily basis. The food is good. I feel my Dad is not only safe but cherished. He enjoys his life here, and that, for me, is the bottom line.

I'd recommend Oak Crest Retirement Community is a heartbeat!

I am so happy that my mother moved to Oak Crest Village. She loves it there, it is like being on a lifelong cruise with no worries about taking care of your home or meals. The key is to move in when you are well because they won't accept you if your medical problems are too complicated. The staff is wonderful and are always so friendly and helpful. They really look out for their residents. We looked at other retirement communities when my mother purchased the unit, but we liked the fact that Oak Crest Village is a fee for service community which means that you don't have to pay the enormous entrance fee like you do at the other continuing care retirement communities in the area. Why pay hundreds of thousands of extra dollars when you may not need that care.
