Review of Patuxent River Health and Rehabilitation Center

I'm surprised that the previous reviewer had such a terrible experience. My mother has been residing in this facility for over six weeks, for rehab after surgery and the entire staff and nursing team is awesome. The facility is very clean and does not even look like a nursing home, my mum thinks she is in a hotel. I sometimes spend the nights with my mum, and my experience with the night staff is great. The staff provided me with warm blankets, pillows and even offered me hot tea. They are always very prompt responding to call lights, throughout the night. infection control practices are remarkable. I would advice you to speak with management about your concerns, because this is definitely not the same Patuxent River Health and Rehab it seems. I would recommend this facility anytime to someone looking for a top notch rehabilitation center.
