If you are thinking about leaving a loved one here- DON'T
This place is terrible. It smells terrible, they leave the patients lined up in the hallways doing nothing. There is a violent tier 3 sex offender living in this building, which we were not informed of. There are no laws in the state of Maryland about this, so please do your homework. I brought my 10 yr old daughter here, not knowing about this. There are lots of children/grandchildren that come visit their loved ones. They don't seem to think this is a problem, until something bad happens. I had my mother removed from this facility upon learning about this. ( on my own). The food is terrible & never comes on a regular schedule and is usually cold to the touch. When we had medication question a nurse berated my mother that he was right, my mother had been on this medication for 20 years, so she was correct in asking why it was given at a different time than prescribed by her DR. The physical therapy room was about the only place that we experienced caring and helpful staff, they were great. Check out their rating on medicare.gov, it's not a good place. They are painting and remodeling, however maybe some of that money would be better spent on new equipment and staff that truly care about helping people.
