I wish I had known that a change was made concerning management and staff before using Keswick multi-care facility (again). The staff was unknowing and resentful when concerns were brought to their attention. An ice pack holder that was brought with a patient, recovering from a full knee replacement, was taken from her room. When staff was pleasantly asked about the ice pack, a rave of complaints about what they do and don't do was the response. They simply decided to wrap ice packs in a pillowcase. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! I GUESS I WAS TOO NICE ABOUT THE INCIDENT.Later, they refused the patient her pain medication throughout the entire night! She was told by staff that her meds were on the way; yet, no one returned with her medication. She tearfully requested her medication several times throughout the night and was given nothing. So, entertaining themselves by torturing a patient for having the nerve to need her ice pack holder is not what I consider a facility worthy of pleasant reviews or rewards.
