Review of Cardinal Hill Skilled Rehabilitation Unit

1 Star User Review

My mother was referred to Cardinal Hill after a stroke, for 90 days, we were told. We were overjoyed at her chance to get good rehabilitative care. I was impressed by the decor of the place and the understaffed RN care. The CNA 's ignored calls and let her lie with a soiled brief for hours. The OT said she should learn to feed herself but offered no therapy on how a blind woman could feed herself with a fork in her non-dominant hand. The PT's worked with her and I thought she might make great progress. We learned today from the social worker that she was only there for two weeks! I won't go on about the officious ness of the social worker, who talked to me as if I didn't even know Mother was a patient at Cardinal Hill. Now, we must find care for my mother within 10 days
