Terrible facility! The nursing staff is completely incompetent and take zero responsibility for their actions. I was an employee of the laboratory they hire for ordered lab testing and let me tell you the policies are not only unethical- they are illegal.
They have a "no refusal" policy when it comes to lab testing. This means if a resident (with OR without) dementia refuses venipuncture for whatever reason- a member of the nursing staff has to hold them down against their will to obtain a specimen. As a lab employee I found this to be horrific and this is the first time I have ever seen a policy like this.
As if this weren't enough. They do not adhere to OSHA rules and regulations- the night nurse Angie was walking around the floors in bare feet and sleeping on more than one occasion.
Do NOT put anyone you love in this home. I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this home.
