I ran into a couple veterans that are residents at this facility today at the Knoxville VA. The staff member was unobservant, rude, disrespectful and uncaring. She played on her smart phone while the residents roamed outside and were not available for the doctor when he came to call them. When the residents were seated with her she ignored them and seemed irritated when they asked her questions. She is being paid to care for them, not play on her cell phone. They paid their dues to this country and she should give them the utmost respect. I left the VA in tears because of this and I plan to report it to the facility and to the Veterans Administration. I couldn't figure out in my rating how to give a 1/4 star and it wouldn't allow me to leave it at 0 otherwise I would have.
