I cannot stress how important it is to do an assessment of your own if you are planning to place a family member in any nursing home. Prairie Lake Health campus DOES NOT provide quality care to long term residents or to those that cannot speak for themselves or to those that require in depth care.
We found the facility to be deficient in the following areas:
Inconsistent nursing care from one shift to another.
Inadequate training for all staff with regard to specific medical conditions,
Poor medication management
Inability to assess ongoing internal issues.
Inadequate medical record management.
The management team is NOT trained to interact with the general public, fake, phony rhetoric do not resolve the slew of problems at Prairie Lakes.
The staff does not return phone calls or answer emails.
I have serious concerns about this facility!.
