I reviewed this facility approximately 10 days ago giving it a negative review with very specific complaints that were accurate and met the guidelines as outlined in your criteria…just wondering why you've only published 1 glowing "dated" review about this facility, which was not my review! Much can change in 2 or 3 years as it obviously has with Prairie Lakes. If you are considering this facility for your relative, I suggest you dig deep, visit the facility many, many times. Do your homework: inquire as to the turnover rate of the administrative and nursing staff, is the Executive Director qualified for the position? Are the nurses, CNAS and aids always looking out for the best interest of your loved ones, are the activities geared toward the needs of the resident, do the residents look happy and well cared for, how often do the residents receive showers/baths? What meal options are offered? Check the INDOH inspection reports for the current quarter/year, it should be visible/available to all guests. Don't sign anything you don't understand. Will your family member be private pay or Medicaid, this could make a difference in the care your loved one receives.
