My father was in this facility for two months as he recovered from a fall. While the nurses on staff are kind and caring, they rotate every couple of weeks to a different center and you do not see them again so anything that you might have been told by them is no longer valid as there are new nurses with their own ideas. Secondly, you must have a strong family advocate for the resident in order for things to get carried out. It took two weeks for my father to receive an airbed that had been requested two days into his stay and 3 weeks into his stay we are still awaiting a walking boot that has been delayed twice due to staff errors. I have discussed my fathers treatment plan with various individuals and often felt that they were not as knowledgeable in the field that they are covering as they needed to be (I should not be informing them of certain aspects of his recovery process). While the staff is kind and the facility beautiful, there is much left to be desired in regards to professionalism and knowledge base. Also, do not plan on having any phone calls returned from anyone at the facility, nor expect anyone to call you even when they have taken your number and stated that they would.
