This "nursing home " has been an absolute nightmare! The very first morning my mom was here they put her in a wheelchair and left her sitting in the lobby with no oxygen and she was on doctors orders of 24/7 oxygen by her regular doctor! The Director of Health Services, Diane Schutte assured us that they took full responsibility for this major indescretion and they were sorry and that she would also personally take care of a situation of wrong dosage on her meds and she assured me that she would handle the situation ….this was at 11AM! By 9pm my mom still had not received her meds and the nurse could not even read the correct dosage! Had to have an aide(after I threatened to take my mom back to Dearborn County Hospital) get on the phone with executive director(John Hutcherson) and have him contact Diane Schutte and she finally called the nurse with the correct meds and dosage! Since my mom has been at this facility we have done most of her care while being there almost 16 hours a day…and we are only on day 2! I would not recommend this facility to anyone ….the nurses are clearly overworked and the aides were extremely helpful but helpless at the same time! Beware this is no place to put a beloved family member!!

Husband was suppose to be on 2% oxygen they had him 6% for a night until he noticed it.
So what was the final outcome? Is your mother still there, or did you take her out? If she's still there, have things improved? Would love it if MORE people would review "Ridgewood Health Campus." I want to hear both the good and the bad about it. My siblings and I want our mother to be living close to us, but also close to her sister & brother. The location of this place is ideal, but I want to read more opinions. Thanks.
