My mom was in Dogwood for rehab and it was GREAT. That is what the 5 star rating is for.
(However on our walks for therapy to the other end of the building the alarms at the nurses stations were going off almost constantly. It would drive me NUTS to have to listen to that all day. After a half hour on that end working a puzzle I told my mom she wasn't "allowed" to ever be there because I wouldn't be able to visit and I worried it would drive her batty. If the alarms are going off for things that don't need attention then get rid of them. If the alarms need attention then attend to them and let the rest of the residents have some peace. That would get a one star rating!
