I am giving this facility low ratings because of they way the cna to patient ratio is set up. On the night shift the aids are expected to do bed checks every two hours. This is physically impossible because they have one aid on a hall with thirty residents alone. The residents are being checked twice maybe three times on a good night. Not to mention the peolpe that the aid has to dress very early so that the first shift does not complain, they do anyways because the people are wet by the time they get in at six am. The aid has to start the last bedcheck at three a.m. just to finish by 6. The residents are great….but I wouldnt send a loved one there, not even out dog and I dont like animals. It's really sad my heart goes out to the residents and family members that do not know whats going on with their loved ones. This nursing home needs more aids especially on nights. Its been reported many times to manangement and new people come and go because its impossible to give the care that you are supposed to give.
