My mother is currently a patient at Carmel H&L. Though there are some pluses about the establishment I am truly starting to measure it against the bad. Lack of communication is huge! My mother was diagnosed diabetic and the kitchen staff had no clue and feed her cakes and brownies and such. Today I found her in bed with covers pulled up no brief and her pants around the ankles. It was brought to my attention that “some” of the staff does that so come dinner they can just throw on a brief and pull the pants up and get them out of bed. I find this a mortifying practice, though I was told they do not “do that here” by the supervisor, the first person I confronted about it did not seem at all surprised.
