My Mother was referred to this place by a doctor at Northwest community hospital. If you love the person going to a nursing home: DO NOT SEND THEM TO ROSEWOOD!!!!!
The place looks wonderful by appearance but there are many issues. The floors are polished, but the bed was hand crank hospital bed. Once you arrive, I found out that my Mother was given any water, so everyday I would bring in water, as she had a UTI. The staff, the CNA are overworked by being both CNA and waiters. Some staff were angels and others hated their jobs and it showed. Some staff didn't bother to get my Mother up and dressed, so I came in everyday to take care of her. Some nurses are good at there jobs others could care less. Since my mother was in for a UTI, I asked if they would take another urine sample as they had said she was fine now. They didn't bother since it involved putting her on a bedpan. I ended up getting the container that fitted inside the toilet and got the sample. Of course she had a UTI and it went down hill with a bad doctor and some horrid staff and inedible food.
