Review of Symphony of Crestwood

This is the worst nursing home I have seen. I would like to know whose monitoring the businesses in the suburbs? It can't be the the city of Chicago or the state. They don't seem to adhere to the same rule violations as the city. The cooks don't no how to cook. The resident food is always too salty. They have the same food all the time which is always something cheap and inexspensive. Foods like mash potatoes with gravy, hamburger, green beans. Friday is fish day but its always bad or burnt.

This nursing home has been remodeling, but the rooms still look bad. Although the pictures of the new rooms look good on the design boards downstairs. Unfortunately, they even kept the same old faded ugly blankets. Majority staff is rude. They act like they don't want to be there. Staff ignores the family when they go to the nurses station, and act like they don't see the call lights on in the rooms.

Sometimes it takes 30 plus minutes for the aides or anyone to answer a call light. Some rooms smell so strong with urine its ridiculous. They let patients stay wet for hours so sometimes til they put them to bed. Residents are always by the cold front door. Never enough supplies for patient rooms on there floor. There's no good in house activities. There is a lot wrong with this facility.
