Review of Franklin Grove Living and Rehab

2 Star User Review

This facility is clean and there are many caring people who work here. Some CNAs are wonderful, some less than adequate. The activities people are about the best I've seen anywhere. The downfall of the facility is its administration. You rarely see them in the hallways and they don't seem to care enough to get to know their residents as individuals. My father was a resident there for awhile. We removed him to a better facility when he developed pressure sores and we were not notified. He was also being mis-medicated. I still have friends who live here who also have pressure sores so I wonder how these get reported to the state. If you spend any time here, you will see that the call lights do not get answered in a timely manner. My friends who live here tell me that it's bad enough during the day, but at night they have had to wait from 45 - 90 minutes to have their call light answered. When we moved my father to a different nursing home, my family quickly realized that good administration is key to a good nursing home. This is where Franklin Grove is sadly lacking.
