Review of Dixon Rehab & Health Care Center

3 Star User Review

My grandma is temporarily at Dixon Healthcare and Rehab Center. She's complained to me about not being helped right away when she requests assistance to go to the bathroom. And today when I went to go visit her I heard a woman crying out in the hallway so I went to make sure she was alright, she begged me to take her to the bathroom. I asked two nurses to help her, both told me someone was coming and walked off and the poor woman had to wait forever before someone finally cared enough to help her. It really disgusted me.

Some of the nurses are very helpful and nice, but there's also some who are really slow and not attentive enough. A lot of times when I go visit my grandma, many of them are just standing around talking to one another and not doing much.

I will say that they do feed everyone well. My grandma says the food is always good and they give you plenty to eat. The place seems clean enough, although my grandma said the large bathroom they sometimes take her too, seemed a little dirty. There's also a lot of different activities for residents to take part in.

My biggest complaint has to do with some of the nurses not being professional enough, usually the younger ones and there not being enough help to go around.
