Review of Sunny Ridge

When she left the hospital after the stroke to Sunny Ridge, she left there with the hospital rejoicing her recovery. She was doing so well. Sunny Ridge however, let my aunt die because they didn't watch her after her stroke. They were told to watch her close because of the stroke and the clot in her brain. But they didn't watch her. They put her in a wheel chair for hours and then she puked all over herself while slumped over in her chair. My daughter found her like that and told them to put her into bed. My aunt was not responsive. It wasn't until the next day, on Monday, they could wake her and sent her to the hospital where the doctor grab me and pulled me down to look at her MRI. It showed half of her brain pushed to one side. The doctor said she had been bleeding for day. The doctors at the hospital still can't figure out why this place was giving her two different kind of blood thinners and not watching her closely. She died 3 days later and was only at the center for 9 days. One day after thanksgiving. She only went there for rehab. and was expected to do well as St. Al's told us. But Sunny Ridge is a terrible place and nobody should ever go there. I rate them a big fat 0.

Sunny Ridge is the very best facility in the city of Nampa as well as in Canyon County. They annually get the Jean Schnoover Award from the State of Idaho Bureau of Facility Standards for their excellent patient care. This award is given to only the very best nursing homes in the State of Idaho. Their annual surveys are superb and their 5-Star CMS ratings are always at 4-5 Stars. An excellent choice for any one that has a loved one!!
