My mother was in a very weak state when she was admitted. My father died a month after she was admitted. She was unable to even get up out of a chair by herself. The physical therapy department worked with her along with the nursing staff. She is now up walking the halls daily. We are able to take her out to dinner without the use of a wheelchair. Her mental state is good and she likes being there. She has made many friends and likes the nursing staff. She says," I'm where I need to be."
I am thankful to the staff and administration for making her feel so welcomed and have made this a place where she is well cared for and feels that this is her home.
