First time visiting Unihealth Post-Acute Care- Fairburn Ga. The experience wasn't good at all. I entered through the door that's locked and someone had to let me in. When someone eventually acknowledge me and let me in I said "Thank you" and she didn't make any eye contact or said anything to me. I didn't know where I was going and she didn't take the time to ask me if I needed any help. My dad as well as brother experienced the same thing. Same person and everything, and we visited on different days. So, that alone made me feel in uncomfortable and worry about my mom care and safety. The second issue that bothered me was the smell.Didn't smell fresh at all. The third issue that bothered me was the fact that I couldn't get in contact with my mom on the phone because no one knew how to connect me. The fourth issue was that my mom wasn't getting her breakfast, lunch or dinner on time. She had to continue to call and ask if it's too late to get anything because for some reason they forgot to bring her food and when they did it's cold. They claimed she was in the system so what's the problem with her getting her food and getting it on time?My fifth issue had to do with equipment. Employee had trouble finding a battery for a machine because another employee had hid them. Guest as well as patients shouldn't have to wait because of employees hiding things or any guest or patients should hear conversations about write up on employees. My last issue is the fact that she was told that she would have a private room and would only stay in the room she's currently in for a couple of hours. It's now 2 days and she's still sharing a room. Even though my experience wasn't good, there we're 2 employees that really did their job well and I thank them because even though other didn't they apologized for them.
