If you have a loved one that requires the services of a nursing home, I would NOT recommend Budd Terrace (Clifton Rd, Atlanta); I strongly encourage finding somewhere else. I don't even believe Budd Terrace Nursing Home deserves 1 Star! If you are expecting friendly faces, compassionate hearts, and good attitudes from the staff, you have gone to the wrong place. You CAN, however, expect most of the staff to be unattentive, rude, and get annoyed when you ask for something from them. Albeit, there are a few employees that provided the minimum expectations, but not enough to change my opinion of the horrible 2 day experience I had with my loved one there.
ABOLUTELY, 100%, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND A LOVED ONE BEING LEFT IN THEIR "CARE"!!

I wish I would have read your review before we decided to take my father to Budd Terrace. With some notable exceptions, I am having a similar experience.
As a family member of resident at Budd Terrace, I can say that what you state is completely not the norm. Your review doesn't provide any information that is of value, only that you are angry, probably at what life has dealt you. Sounds like maybe you were one of that family members that lashed out at the staff, and they frankly did what they could to avoid you. My mother has been in the center long enough for me to see family members who want to spread their anger at life to everyone, rather than be appreciative to those who provide good care for our loved ones.
My father was a recent patient at Budd Terrace, and I found the extreme opposite of your description of the staff. You can't expect a nursing facility to treat you and your loved one the same as in the hospital - they are not the same kind of facilities. My family and I found the staff to be very professional and warm. I researched Budd Terrace before us making a choice and found it to be far superior than most others I researched. Maybe you and your family had expectations that were too high. The physicians and nursing staff were magnificent. The food was great as well. By the tone of your review, it doesn't sound much like any place would be satisfactory to you.
