My parent was in Brookhaven for a few months. The facility missed several appointments. The person who drives the bus makes the doctor's appointments. The social worker seems only concerned with your insurance. I observed several nurses just standing around during the night shift. Overall the staff is very lazy. My parent was not fed properly. I was glad to get him out. I know there are worse places but you should shop around before you allow a loved one to stay there.

I make the appts for my Mother, and the van driver with me in the van or not has gotten my Mom there in time and was only a telephone call away when we wanted to be picked up. They two drivers I have met could not be any nicer. KPL
