I .would like to see how they resolved their deficiences. I know they have lost many long term employees over the last 3 yrs due to administration changes,some resigned due to this administrators treatment of them,cutting of budgets,etc all to make a name for herself,then moved on to another home in the same company. She also gave away the resident cat and dog that lived there. Now has a nice backyard area and a locked unit but the unit is more for trouble makers and is not really an alzheimers unit. Has had 2 J tags this year. They also do not have a facility van to take people places. They list Dr Dallman as their medical director yet her passed away last yr!

so how do you find how they resolved the deficiencies?
Which Administrator and which DON?, they change on a continuous basis…basically one Administrator a year, DON might last a year and a half…someone has to take the fall so usuallly the DON first, then the Administrator.
They have 2 out of 5 stars for a reason , their administrator and director of nursing . I have walked into the building watching the Director of nursing belittle her staff in front of my own eyes , THAT should be done behind a closed door and Administrator watching should have addressed that situation right away instead smiled and carried on . The staff working Aides , Nurses , Dietary Aides have always been wonderful , and do not deserve to work with such a Boss , She is never at work and when she is , never pleasant . Tarpon Bayou will continue to go under Because of them . The only reson my loved one is still there is because the care given by aides and nurses is excellent ! I hope this corporation wakes up and realizes what the true problem is .
