My 90 year old Mother was sent to Gracewood Rehabilitaion for Rehab on a Saturday afternoon after hip replacement surgery at St. Anthony's Hospital. From the beginning we complained to the staff because my Mom was not getting the attention she needed. My Mom was not strong enough to feed her self and we would find the tray of food was left at her bedside several times without anyone realizing that she was unable to feed herself. Also my Mother had a huge bedsore that was open and oozing on her back side and a pressure sore on the bottom of her heal, Mom should have been turned every two hours. I regret that I did not take my Mother out to another Rehab center before she wound up in the hospital again.
