Great staff that really cares about their patients.
I have stayed at several nursing/rehabilitation facilities
This is my first choice for overall services after my third visits
I should of read the reviews. This place is horrible understaffed, management don't care and can't be found. When you complain they take it out on you. Stay away from this place.
What a clean and wonderful as well as fantastic rehab dept. this center has. I have been attending the PT rehab dept. here at this place now for 2+ months as an *out patient* for my shoulder surgery i had and i must say that my physical therapist Ivan is Da Bomb. He is an assist to this facility 100% and truly knows his craft, his profession and his stuff when it comes to the knowledge of the human body. The cafeteria is also avail. for out patients to dine in at, there is a small fee of course which i am not crazy about, but i find it fulfilling to sit with a few of the in patients at a table while enjoying a complete and good lunch right before my standing appointments twice a week at 1 pm. I highly recommend this Physical Therapy Dept. for any physical rehab needs and even as an out patient. Also, everyone in that dept. is friendly and pleasant to be around. Take it from me and my experience, it is well worth the chance to try them if you are in need of a professional to help you get back to normal.
My Mom stayed here for 6 weeks after falling in her house and being found 2 days later, in bad pain and wanting to die. The staff at Royal Oaks is amazing and nurturing and turned her from wanting to die and being told she will never walk again by her incompetent uncaring doctor, Mr. Pitroda, to a move 2 days ago to assisted living, getting around in a wheelchair and walker. She loved the rehab people at Royal Oaks, Victor and Scott and Camber, as well as Amanda and all the wonderful nurses assigned to her during her stay there. I would highly recommend this facility and the care shown by Rose and Jeanette helped us through this tough situation. They went to bat for us with the insurance companies, getting her coverage we cold not have gotten on our own. Debbie at the front desk is an advocate I would want on my side and was always on the phone on behalf of the patients, getting meds or whatever was needed. I can not say enough about this wonderful group and thank the for saving my Mom!
Run away….don't walk. My mother has been here twice. The first time which was over a year ago was a stellar experience. This time was a nightmare. Dr. Barnes, who was her doctor while there, should have retired years ago. The staff was not particularly friendly and some downright rude. The entire place was oblivious to my mother's medical needs. The kicker was that she was discharged on Friday and that very evening she was admitted to the hospital far more ill than when she went there. She had medical issues that she did not have when she arrived at Life Care.No one admits to anything and they're all busy trying to cover their tracks among other things. PURE NEGLIGENCE!!!
The physical infrastructure is good, it is clean with a large dining room and an "Ice Cream" parlor as well as a TV lounge area unfortunately that is the only selling point. Nurses seem short staffed, when calling always told they are "making their med rounds" Case Manager gave me two weeks notice that my family member was being discharged. Did not offer any advice on where to put Mom after rehab was finished. Nurses tend to be quite rude, you have to constantly stay on them by calling frequently or showing up in person to get them to offer you any update on health of patient. Mom seems no better after being here.
Not enough REGISTERED NURSES
staff responses to patients calls take forever even up to 30 minutes
Staff practical nurses attitudes need "re-training"
Week-ends need more supervision
Would NEVER refer this place to anyone
I just came to Trinity and I really wish I would of read the reviews 1st. I have had my 4th severe intestinal surgey I came here after 2 weeks in hospital. They have all my medications screwed up. For dinner they gave me chicken chilli in a small jello bowl wuth a s.nall chunk of corn bread that was hard as a rock. Now keep in mind my surgery involved my intestines being pulled apart and put back together they gave me chilli with beans! I did the same as another lady on here except my son helped me or I wouldn't be writing this. Good luck don't go here
This rehab is very good, from nursing to administration. I had my mother there after surgery and we are happy we researched and chose Trinity Regional Rehab. The food was good - practically cooked to order. The administration did anything they could to please my mom and our other family members. Most of the time, fed us for free too! Highly recommend.
This place is a joke. Took them over an hour and half to put my mother on a bed pan. No one came to my mom when she called for them. I had to go out the hallway and yell at the nurse or cna (dont really care what they were) to come help her. She took a laxative and couldnt hold it anymore, she was in tears and this lady was in the hallway laughing and giggling it up. So i yelled at her. How dare these people treat residence like this, they pay your paychecks. How would they feel if someone treayed their
I can't give this facility even one star rating. I have been trying for weeks with this facility to obtain some personal belongings of a former resident. I have spoken to the Social Services person each time and each time I was told that the 'check was in the mail.' Three weeks have passed and still nothing. I called again and spoke to her only to be informed that nothing had been done and that it wasn't a priority for her. God forbid you have a loved one in this facility. Unfortunately I have to give this facility at least 1 star. It really doesn't deserve that much.
I recenly had the opportunity to have experienced their rapid rehab wing for a short stay following surgery. I was very impressed with the therapy team as they very involved in my quick recovery. The team was very upbeat and professional. I liked that the rehab area wing was seperate from the long term care patients. The place was very clean and all staff presented very professional. I would reccomend this facility hands down for any rehab needs you or your loved ones may have. I can see why they received the Best of Pasco Gold reward for the best rehab center and customer service award.
My father was a patient there in the memory support unit. They were always mindful of his needs and called us immediately to report any issues. From the nursing staff, cleaning staff, kitchen staff and administration -- they work very hard to care for our Nation's veterans. There was never an issue with cleanliness and I always observed the staff paying nothing but respect to the patients. They have plenty of activities to keep veterans busy and so many organizations come out to support these heroes. They communicated well with us and we had monthly family meetings with the staff. My father has since passed, but they were there for us through the entire process. Many of the staff even wept at his passing. I am a veteran myself and I am proud to see that such exceptional services are available for my fellow veteran.
I have a loved one at Madison Pointe who suffers from Alzheimer's and am very pleased with the care she is receiving. She is treated with respect and kindness and is very happy there, or I should say as happy as anyone could be in a nursing home. They have activities and encourage their residents to participate and the entertainment they provide is good. They have quarterly meetings with the family to discuss any concerns we might have. Naturally there is always room for some improvement but overall, as nursing homes go, this is one of the nicest I have been to.
My mother in law had heart surgery and a few other surgeries and had to be rehabilitaed. Advised by her Dr. we placed her at HeartLand Of zephyrhills… Big mistake the quality of care was extremely poor and she lost 40 lbs in 2 months. Her grandaughter bought her tart candles from yankee candle to put in her room to make it smell better . One of the" FORIEGN" nurses or aids opened it and feed it to her thinking it was candy … If they were educated enough they would have been able to read that it was a candle and not candle. I wouldn't recommend putting my dog at this facility!! God bless anyone who chooses it and she will never return there again!!!!
I spent the last week moving my loved one from out of state to Trinity. She had a stroke and was confused, hard of hearing and couldn't see well. From the moment we arrived at the airport, Trinity was there to make this a smooth transition. The lady who transported her was caring and patient, helping her adjust to riding without us along. We arrived at Trinity just as they were taking her in. The staff members greeting us at the door were warm and friendly. She settled quickly into her room, was given a refreshing shower and asked us to go home so she could rest! The next day we visited and she told us Therapy was wonderful, she had a good appetite and like her roommate. We expected anxiety but received contentment. This facility prides itself on the needs of the patient. As difficult as it is to leave a loved one, knowing they are happy and well cared for makes it easier. Thanks!
Great place and friendly staff. Always addressed any problems and called the md right away. Many different departments involved in the great care of my moms care Would highly recommend it. Thanks to all the nurses and aides for all the great care they gave her while there.
This place is for the birds I have stayed at Hotel's that treated me better. My Aunt was here for several days, while staying their she was given the wrong medication and was told several times to wait on pain medication. I spoke to the person they call a unit secretary, asked to speak to who was in charge was told she was in a meeting and would get back to me. Also asked for the corporate number and was told I would have to get it from the Director of nursing. Pulled my Aunt out of the rehab and till this day have not heard from the Director. This place is a joke do your research. BEWARE
I'd be curious to know why someone would give this nursing home a 1 star. My father was there and they were wonderful with him. He was always clean, cared for and the staff always called us if there were any issues or concerns. This is the first nursing home I've been in that was clean and did not smell! They show complete dignity & respect to our Nation's finest.
My family member was there for rehab after a knee surgery. EXCELLENT! The staff is so nice and experienced. The food was good and if my dad didn't like the daily menu, he could get anything he requested! I would recommend it to anyone.
It's shocking how little the Zephyr Haven management seem to care about customer service and family concerns! From my experience, it would seem that they place the needs of customers and families at the very bottom of their list of priorities! They were cold, unsympathetic to our needs, and seem to care more about their bottom line than the families they serve! It became obvious to me that they are just looking for the most docile "bodies" to fill up their facility which require the least amount of effort on their part to care for! I was hoping that they would be sympathetic to our situation and understand where we were coming from. Instead, they made it completely obvious that they didn't care about the needs of my 87 year old father, or what me and my family were going through! The management of this facility is cold, uncaring and I do NOT recommend it!
This place is absolutley homey. The atrium is so delightful! The food is good, floors just shined . My Mom is verry hapy here. Doctor comes 2 times a week, more than she has ever had before.
My mother was a patient WW Rehab for 3 weeks and my father for about a week. After a fews days there, my mother's gold wedding band was stolen off her finger (appraised at $600) and my father's clothes were lost. The Director of Admissions told me that the Board would not reimburse my mother for her loss because they said it was "heresay". However, my cousin and sister can both attest to the fact that she had her ring on when admitted. The Admissions Office, for some reason, did not take an inventory of personal items upon their admission. This is deplorable and very sad.
Understaffed, medications not available and wrong diet administered….run, don't walk, from this place
