Review of Manor at Blue Water Bay, The

When my father first went to The Manor, the staff seemed very eager to help and get him settled, but very quickly became dismissive. Each time I've been there in the past couple weeks, I've been unable to get any real information from nurses, and my father who has COPD and has developed quite a bit of congestion has only seen a doctor once, which was the day after he arrived. Everyone seems to be busy, and quite unavailable to answer questions or the provide adequate information regarding his health. Also, with him having COPD and developing congestions, a nurse should have requested that the doctor be notified, but to date that hasn't happened or else the doctor has been notified but hasn't bothered to show up. For a staffed nursing facility, I'm highly disappointed in the lack of care my father has received thus far.
