Review of Coral Reef Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

My mother was transferred by ambulance to a hospital in Miami, FL, to this Rehab for two weeks. He arrived with water in the lungs with pneumonia and was intubated for three days. He spent two weeks in the hospital and then referred to a place of rehabilitation. When we arrived, no one greeted us, we were in a room at the end of the building, no one came. I had to stay overnight in a good hard chair, I asked for a recliner and they said that there's only on a private room. The attention was terrible, the second day my mother had a very big rash on her back and it hurt a lot. It was because they left in one position all the time. The doctor sent her to a private room. There was no internet service, or phone unless you wilt right near the window. We spent two weeks there and there were three cockroaches and a worm coming off the bedside table. Nobody cared, also had mosquitoes. My mother became ill with bronchitis and did not give her any medication because the doctor said that was where necessary, that is, when cough and never had to hear it and see it. It did not improve so fast, and then asked him to give the spray and is also given when necessary, did not continue treatment. A nurse took three pieces of clothing to laundry, which only appeared, the other two were stolen and a nurse said many things happen since they are carried until they reach the place. Wow … The shift nurses am always critical of the night shift and vice versa, casting blame each other. Nurses and assistants take a long time to go through the room to see patients. A not pleasant experience and I would never visit that place in my life.
