The staff put diapers on my grandmother rather than assist her in using the toilet. She was not cared for and the place smelled of urine. Within three weeks, she had community acquired pneumonia - they only called me once they dumped her, alone, in the ER at Mercy. She was in distress and could barely breathe. Her organs slowly shut down and she died 5 days later. I would have never allowed he to be put in this place if I had known how bad it was.
