My father was a patient there in the memory support unit. They were always mindful of his needs and called us immediately to report any issues. From the nursing staff, cleaning staff, kitchen staff and administration -- they work very hard to care for our Nation's veterans. There was never an issue with cleanliness and I always observed the staff paying nothing but respect to the patients. They have plenty of activities to keep veterans busy and so many organizations come out to support these heroes. They communicated well with us and we had monthly family meetings with the staff. My father has since passed, but they were there for us through the entire process. Many of the staff even wept at his passing. I am a veteran myself and I am proud to see that such exceptional services are available for my fellow veteran.
