The day shift is terrible. They do nothing. And if there is an emergency everyone just acts like …………….oh……………..so……..slow. Patient safety is not good. NO communication between anyone.
A few good nurses and aides but they are not on all the time.
No one listens. Everyone does what they want.. If you call them on any deficiency, they say "I know" Well, if YOU KNOW, do it right.

It is what it is so… You are going to have to take some bad with the good. Some of the posts on here are downright kind of slightly immature. I have worked in nursing homes in my prior jobs, and I have seen it all pretty much. I was a care-giver too for a friend of mine and or room-mate. I felt bad for him that his health had declined so… I am currently trying to find work in the nursing home atmosphere though. Hoe I find something soon though. Lol! Thanks for letting me post my thought too.
