My mother is a resident at Consulate for rehab, my mother suffers from dementia. I and my siblings have had to have multiple talks to the staff and superiors of the care or neglected care she receives. The staff does not answer call buttons, they do not clean the patient after they use the bathroom, they do not clean the person when changing a dirty diaper to a clean one. They do not make sure the resident is fed or has a tray of food. I worry about the residents that do not have family checking frequently. We show up at all times of the day and have witnessed poor nursing care!!!!! I am a nurse myself and they preform the poor care right in front of me, I can't imagine what they do when I'm not there. I would suggest if you have a choice please do not sent anyone you care about to this facility!!!!!!!!!!!!
