This facility was absolutely wonderful. The staff are all very caring people, from the medical people working with my mom to the activity staff, therapy staff, and management. Although I think everyone prefers to be at their own home rather than in a rehab center, mom actually really liked it there. The therapists are top notch, and the nursing staff truly cared about her well being. Mom is back home now, but would definitely go back if the need ever arises.

If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. After suffering a stroke, I placed my mother at Life Care Center of Longmont for rehabilitation. The level of neglect and lack of care demonstrated by the staff was astounding. Even after meeting with managment regarding the deficiencies, we saw no improvement. The staff continually focused on a broken wrist, suffered in a fall a couple weeks before the stroke. We had to remind each and every worker that the reason for her stay at Life Care was because of the stroke and therapy should be focused on speech and swallowing…. not the wrist. My mother died 6 days after arriving at Life Care Center (after waiting 9 hours for an IV). If you want your family member to thrive…DO NOT place them at this center. It's the worst decision I've ever made.
