My mom just left Orchard Park. It was the worst experience we have ever gone through but we were dictated by insurance to go here. The staffing was deplorable at best. Several times my mom waited over an hour for her call light to be answered. We never had complaints dealth with, they also admitted my mom with a virus in their building and didn't notify us in advance. The nurses are often rude, you could hear them complain about their jobs and the patients from the room. It felt like cattle shoved in a room. My mom was forced to go to the dining room and eat with people who were oftne unkept and smelled of urine. The facility was dirty many times and rarely did we see house keeping actually do more than empty trash. My mom had to go to a shared bathroom for her bathing that smelled of urine. She stated she would rather not even bathe. We experienced horrible customer service and horrible communication. If you love your family spare them from ever having to go to this place. It was a nightmare. 01/2013

My mother has had the same experience! I am finally able to get her out of there! Once her transport is complete away from there I will revisit this site amongst others and post in detail our experience. For now I can not because she has told me they will retaliate against her. Rude, making her wait an extra long period of time to go to the bathroom just to name a few.
