My dog is here with me and it worries me, that is how badly they treat everyone. Staff is rude and they argue and talk back to the residents. Nursing staff is way too good to talk to us, they are also WAY too busy for the patients! The only thing I have ever seen them do is pass out meds, something any person can get certified for if they work in a home health facility. The food is atrocious, I can't even explain it, and if you even get the right food that you ordered, it is considered a small miracle. The bugs in this place are horrific, the toilets flood over constantly and they are floods of raw sewage all the time. When I asked housekeeping to please clean the things that were on the floor that got in this sewage, I was told that they "don't clean personal items". When I asked for some disinfectant to clean it myself, they told me they were not allowed to give me that…in other words, sit in it! The rehabilitation is an absolute joke, and I have been to two others so I know. They basically stick you on a bike and leave you while they go BS with their friends. Or, they will take you for a "walk" which I do ten times a day anyway since I have a dog. It's disgusting. I was told I would get help finding a place while I was here, I have had no help at all yet they want me to leave as I've been here too long (I'm rehab only but got stuck here as my surgery was postponed). I was told to look for a place, but the patient computer has been broken for a month! Please, if you care about your loved one, run as fast as you can.
